About Creative Therapies Collective
We are experienced HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) registered practitioners trained in assessment, psychological development and treatment delivery. We offer therapy, consultancy, supervision, workshops and training. Grounded in evidence based practice, we do this through play and creativity, utilising art, music, and drama.
The Creative Therapies Collective (CTC) is a community organisation of South Wales based arts therapists working together to make a lasting impact in the lives of those in need. CTC has been set up in response to a need we have seen for more support within the South Wales area. We aim to support individual therapists to secure funding for the purpose of promoting the psychological, emotional, social and physical well-being of the general public living in South Wales through the practice of the Arts Therapies.
The Arts Therapies use music, drama and art to improve the quality of life for vulnerable children and adults. Image, sound, movement, story, and play, are our tools for change. We offer a safe space where the arts are used to communicate experiences. Confidence develops and emotional needs are met. We are non-judgemental and embrace difference.
We offer support to anyone facing difficulties within their lives. Our belief is that given the right environment and support everyone has the ability to grow and repair.
